Utah Tech saved my college career. They were the only place in the state that offered letter grades AND accepted my national accreditation from my previous college. That kept me from having to retake multiple classes and I love my courses here!
Being able to attend Utah tech is amazing. The school has amazing scholarships for all their students who attend and will be attending the university. Due to the fact that it is a cheaper school, Utah tech has a 100% acceptance rate. With this being said, this provides you the opportunity to meet new people and still have that one on one connection with your professor.
The school is rather small which is actually pretty nice. Class sizes are not absurdly large which makes communicating with professors easy. Pretty nice campus that seems to continue to he updated and improved. The HPC gym is very nice and a great option for a gym as it’s free to all students. Overall although it’s a relatively small school they are continuing to improve the campus and expand the courses provided.
Don’t come if you are looking for diversity. As for classes, there are good teachers and bad, depending on learning style. Financial aid is hard to get ahold of.
Super great school! Lot's of campus events to go to, which makes for a really great experience. Most teachers I've had, had been great, others not so much, but overall happy with the education I am receiving.
I really like it here. The faculty and staff are super helpful and really want you to achieve your goals here at Utah Tech. I also really enjoy doing my homework in the warm weather I think it helps me be more productive.
Utah Tech is a very inclusive, welcoming and friendly campus where you are guaranteed to make a new friend everyday. With its lively campus life and beautiful city limits you can do and complete anything you put your mind to. Utah tech university is full of many degree opportunities ranging from dance to a medical degree. With the schools hands on and hands off learning experiences this college is fit for anyone trying to achieve greatness.
It’s a fun school good weather most of the year it’s small enough in certain classes if you like smaller classes so you can get to know professors more. But big enough to were there is always something going on but always could have more activities. Also wish they had a cafeteria instead of just fast food options in campus
What I love about Utah Tech was the class sizes. I was able to personally get to know and talk to my professors and they were in turn able to help me out so much with my understanding. The close out doors and beautiful campus was a huge plus as well. I have already met so much people and they have all been so nice! I am excited for what the rest of my time here has in store for me!
My experience with Utah Tech ( Dixie state ) has been good. I attended the school after I graduated high school and overall enjoyed my time there. There’s lot of different programs to choose from for major and minors and also tons of clubs that you can join which I liked, it’s a great university for locals and it’s affordable. I’d love to be considered this scholarship so I would be able to finish my degree and get out of my financial struggles.
The application is really easy to complete and the counselors make it a super smooth experience once you're accepted. Any time I have a question I reach out to my counselor and they respond really fast and get me the help I need. You're automatically reviewed for scholarship opportunities when you apply to the school, so you don't have to submit a separate application. I'm super excited to attend Utah tech in the fall and can't wait for the opportunities that await me! If you're thinking about applying, just do it!
I really enjoy the general accessibility that everybody experiences. I also just love the student success program that takes place. The school has put so much time ensuring the students ability to achieve.
When I traveled to Saint George, Utah last weekend my brother and i checked out the campus and it was really nice. The people there are awesome too. Utah Tech also has the major that I want to focus on, Forensic Science.
The people are so nice and welcoming. The professors really care that you are taking in their material. I have had the most amazing advisor. He is completely on my side and wants to see me reach graduation just as much and sometimes even more than I do. The different amount of teaching styles present in each classroom are outstanding! I am certain that whatever learning style you need, you'll find teachers that will best be suited for you.
I just transferred here from the University of Utah, and have loved my experience here at Utah Tech so far.
I really like this school and the campus. The faculty and student leaders create a good environment and makes it enjoyable to go to. The campus is cute and small but they have everything you need. Since it's a smaller school they do cute activities that are open to the public which are really fun. The one thing I didn't enjoy as much was that the city it is located in doesn't have a lot to do.
I have not attended yet, but my experience so far with the application process and getting my future schooling figured out has been amazing. My counselor is amazing and so responsive whenever I need anything along with everyone else I’ve been in contact with. My tour at Utah Tech before deciding to go there was also amazing.
