My experience was great! Access to textbooks, reliable computers and internet across the campus, and the ability to build personal relationships with my professors were factors to my success there and after graduation.
I enjoyed my experience so much I am returning for a second degree and eventually my masters.

Stout is a very diverse, inclusive, and broad campus that allows you to take your own path without feeling alone in it. There are plenty of diverse groups here where you are sure to find the one you fit in with best, as long as you apply yourself. As a student athlete, I feel that I am very cared for and important to the campus. Chancellor Frank has made sure that all student athletes feel this way as she meets with all teams individually and exclaims how much she cares and keeps up with us. I feel that I can go any direction I choose with the resources and opportunities on campus.
I chose Stout because of its relatively low tuition cost (but being a college, obviously not super low). With lower tuition costs it is expected not to have as nice a campus as more expensive surrounding schools. That being said, it's a good social environment with good professors and courses. Being a Wisconsin university, you will get your fair share of partying here. It is a great college for STEM majors because they focus on making sure you get substantial experience before going into the workforce.
