As a commuter biomed student who never really got into the social scene at parkside, I can’t complain much. I started online which wasn’t bad overall. My first year psych teacher was subpar and I had to drop biology because the teacher was non accommodating. Throughout my 3 years, about 90% of my teachers put noticeable effort into assuring they accommodated your schedule and spent time outside of class answering questions. Some were tough graders, but others made up for it for being excellent teachers with great personalities, engaging with students one-on-one, and frequently asked the class for feedback to improve their course/teaching style.
As for the food, it’s okay. I usually stay on campus for 8 hours on my busy days. I’m gluten sensitive and they have a few options I can have a day as well as a Starbucks. The dinners are good.
There are a decent number of clubs but I could rarely find one that interested me and worked with my schedule.
It’s a safe and affordable option.

So I chose a smaller school in general, and this is the perfect college for me. The professors are wonderful they really help you succeed, and they show genuine care and interest in you and how you are doing in their class. This school is very welcoming, especially to minorities. I am currently an on-campus student, and their resident halls are amazing not to mention their cafeteria workers are like a family to us we care about them a lot. This is a good school to feel at home at.

In my short time taking classes at UW Parkside I have had a wonderful experience with compassionate and understanding teachers. They have taught interesting classes and allowed me to expand my knowledge on the subjects being taught. The subjects and classes I have taken have given expansive explanations and given me the tools to succeed.
I really liked Parkside. Your professors know you personally and are always available if you have questions and most people are friendly. find the right organization for you and overall it is a very lovely community
I am an international student. So comming to usa and joining this university was quite a sudden decision. I am here just a month ago but i have made very important connections with people, they are helpful, study is quite good and entertaining. Overall, i am really enjoying here. Also, i travelled 24 hours in plane just to reach here and as an international student i don't know what and how i have to write this but my hands are moving on their own.
The University of Wisconsin Parkside is a great campus all around, and they do a great job of being helpful and ready to ensure that students have what they need in order to succeed at University of Wisconsin Parkside. Parkside has faculty that is reliable, flexible, and understanding of student’s separate life’s and other responsibilities that can sometimes interfere with school. Parkside has faculty that will also push and encourage you to be the best you can be without any judgement and will help you find resources that could potentially be helpful such as recommendations, tutors, and even their own resources. At Parkside I have seen many different cultures and background which creates a positive work and study environment that feels welcoming. Parkside is a big facility that has many different ways to get somewhere but there is always clear guides on the campus walls that help you get to where you need to go without confusion. Overall Parkside is a great school and its recommended
University of Wisconsin - Parkside is an amazing place to continue your education. Not only will you get one-on-one help with your work, but you will also receive all kinds of support from staff all around you. Success is the main goal here!
I like the friendliness of staff and students. Professors are very nice and helpful. Good average sized school close to home and would recommend for pre-health students.
The facilities, such as athletic and dining, were amazing. Convinces everywhere and it mad it easy yo feel comfortable in said places.
Parkside is a very beautiful small campus. They provide an enormous quantity of space for studying, both in private or more in the open.
There are so many great study spots, or places to just sit and hangout with friends. Getting between classes is nice because most of campus is one building so it doesn't take much to get from one place to another. All of my professors have been really nice and helpful.
My entire first year was done online, so my experiences may be a little limited. My advisors were all very kind, understanding, and helpful with everything I needed. Although I had some additional challenges, they helped me to the best of their ability and ensured I always knew where to go or what to do next. All staff at the University of Wisconsin Parkside are very accommodating. I was never left feeling confused or like their wasn't a place for me. The staff does a wonderful job of including everyone. I cannot say much regarding dorms, food, and parties, but when I have been on campus, I have felt very safe. The campus is small and easy to get around and you can always find a friendly face- staff and students- if you need anything.
The professors were great and extremely helpful. School staff and policies were atrocious. Only 6 people were allowed at graduation and forced to be inside - it was over 100 degrees in the gym with no fans. Asked to submit a picture for ID card during covid and yelled at when asked for ID.
The level of compassion and availability from all levels of staff is very reassuring. I am a transfer student and was completely ignorant of all the changes made to college life since graduating from a technical college in 2013. Every single staff member I contacted in order to get enrolled in UWP was speedy and compassionate which made the journey thus far manageable.
I loved my experience at UW-Parkside in the three years that I was a student. It provided the best experience for me. I met a lot of lifelong friends that I will never forget. The faculty and staff in the education program are amazing. I am so blessed that I could learn from them.
The University of Wisconsin Parkside was an affordable way to get an undergraduate degree with good professors and a good learning experience. Their isn't much in terms of diversity when it comes to the LGBTQ+ on faculty which is something I would like to see change. It would be a good way to encourage diversity and inclusion.
