UW-Whitewater has one of the most beautiful campuses of any I'd visited. It's also a good size to get from one end to the other, unlike some of the
large campuses I'd seen. The grounds are well-lit, clean, and pretty. There are a number of housing options once you decide you're done with dorm life, including many homes for rent in the area. I like that we are taught by the professors and not aides. I appreciate that we don't have to be entered onto a waiting list for entry into specialized studies pertaining to our majors. I do feel that Whitewater athletics should be recognized more statewide, as we have some of the best athletes/teams around! The student enrollment is diverse, allowing interactions with people not only from around the US but the world! And tuition is more affordable than some of the other state universities, yet we get the same (or better) educational offerings. My experience with UWW has been very enjoyable.

The University of Wisconsin - Whitewater is a very friendly and close-knit college. The campus is of a perfect size so that you know many people, but its not small enough that you will know everyone. The campus itself is beautiful and organized. All the classes are on the same block so that way, your furthest walk would be 15 minutes, AT MOST. The part I love most about UW-Whitewater is the professors. The class size is small enough so that the professors know your name and can help each and every student get the best education. Overall, I would recommend UW-Whitewater to anyone and everyone!
My overall experience at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater has been fun-filled and intellectually stimulating. I sometimes wonder how different my college experience would have been had I attended another university, but then I think about all the memories I have made as well as the incredible knowledge I have gained here at Whitewater; I wouldn't dare transfer anywhere else. Whitewater is my home away from home; and I absolutely adore every little thing about this small town. Everyone is so friendly, the campus is gorgeous, and the professors are extremely knowledgable as well as personable. All of the professors I have had, so far, have gone out of their way to get to know me and provide the necessary tools/guidance I need in order to succeed. Other than lowering tuition rates, I would not change a single thing about the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater!
