UWSP is a great place to attend college! There are plenty of resources on campus, exciting clubs, engaging activities, amazing teachers, and plenty more for everyone! I love how everyone on campus takes pride for our university and treats students, staff, and everything else with respect. The only negative I can think of would be the exceedingly large class sizes that can sometimes play an impact on your learning.
Review University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point
UW Stevens Point has been a wonderful school for me. Every professor I've had thus far only wants to see their students succeed and are willing to take extra measures for that to happen.
The town itself is on the small side (~25,000), but there are plenty of activities on campus to keep you from being bored.
Ultimately, UWSP is what you make of it. I'be been incredibly fortunate in the people I've met, the classes I've taken and the opportunities that have been afforded me through this school. UWSP is definitely worth checking out!
I absolutely love my University. The University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point is about 9,500 students which makes it the perfect size school for me to feel comfortable meeting people, connecting with my professors more, and giving me the ability to have unique experiences on campus that I do not think larger schools can provide. UWSP also has the largest and leading Natural Resources program in the country which give me a huge advantage when it comes to curriculum and the quality of information I am being taught. While we are the largest Natural Resources undergraduate program, I would like to see our school doing more to be sustainable; we have programs in place like our recycling and our new bike shelter, but I think there is more that we could be doing. Other than that, I think that the school is great and really gives students more experience in their field of study than other larger schools might.
