UWSP is a great place to attend college! There are plenty of resources on campus, exciting clubs, engaging activities, amazing teachers, and plenty more for everyone! I love how everyone on campus takes pride for our university and treats students, staff, and everything else with respect. The only negative I can think of would be the exceedingly large class sizes that can sometimes play an impact on your learning.

UW Stevens Point has been a wonderful school for me. Every professor I've had thus far only wants to see their students succeed and are willing to take extra measures for that to happen.
The town itself is on the small side (~25,000), but there are plenty of activities on campus to keep you from being bored.
Ultimately, UWSP is what you make of it. I'be been incredibly fortunate in the people I've met, the classes I've taken and the opportunities that have been afforded me through this school. UWSP is definitely worth checking out!
My experience at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point has been very good. The teachers and staff are very dedicated and responsive. The advisors are very helpful in helping you plan your academic career. The university cares about your opinions. They send out surveys on academic programs, as well as many other things. One thing that really stands out about the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is their dedication to protecting vulnerable students. They make great efforts to make the environment safe and friendly for LGBTQ students. They offer legal assistance and social support for the dreamers (DACA). The one thing I would change is access to information about scholarships. For students who are not eligible for grants, they may find it difficult to find out about and apply for scholarships sponsored by the university. If I had to choose a university all over again, I would stick with the University of Wisconsin system.
