I really love this university. I've been attending here all four years and have had nothing it positive experiences. Everyone is so nice and welcoming! The professors here are great! They are well qualified and easily accessible and are willing to help students who seek help. The class sizes are small so you have a chance to interact more with the professors and other students. The clubs, sports and organizations here on campus are amazing. There are so many opportunities to get involved. The campus is great in all seasons and is very well taken care of. You can walk from one side of campus to the other in fifteen minutes. It's also a great place for students who commute. Our Universitg Center provides a nice place for students to study, relax, eat and have fun! The only change I would like to see on campus is for there to be more activities in the winter but this year they have already added so much. This university is a great place to attend!
Review University of Wisconsin - River Falls
River Falls has truly become my home away from home! With the small campus community, I was able to connect easily with many people who share the same interests as me. River Falls offers an abundant amount of opportunities to be involved on campus. The professors value each student for who they are, rather than just another number, compared to larger universities.
UWRF is one of the most affordable schools in the UW System. With that being said, there aren't many resources for students. It's a very small campus, which is nice for class sizes but is made up of mostly white mid-westerners. If you aren't going to study education, business, or agriculture, I wouldn't recommend going here. I found as a Theatre Arts student, I didn't have the resources I needed in order to be successful in my major. With all of Walker's budget cuts, the university lost a lot of funding which led to many cuts in programs. Many programs that suffered most were in the arts. They changed the name and path of my major, forcing me to either accept the change and finish my studies unsatisfied or leave. I left the school with hopes to transfer to a better facility that had the resources and program that I needed.
