University of Wisconsin - River Falls Reviews
The University of Wisconsin - River Falls is the ideal university in the Midwest. UWRF is close to the Twin Cities yet has a small town, agricultural feel. It is the perfect size if you’re looking for both, the college experience and an easy-to-navigate campus, overlooking the beautiful Kinnickinnic River. I can walk anywhere on campus and hear a warm “hello” from many friends and strangers out and about. The university has an affordable tuition rate and books are free! The professors are as caring and kind as your friends and family, making your classes even more enjoyable. There is no limit to the opportunities students have at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls!
Being a first generation college student and a freshman starting her first year at UW-River Falls, I was a little unsure about how adjusting to college life would be for me. I'm pleased to say it has went above & beyond my highest expectations. Besides a few hiccups down the road, my experience has been amazing. The academics are challenging, but very interesting. They have a phenomenal College of Agriculture, Food, & Environmental Sciences, including my major of Animal Science. It's a very affordable, fairly small, agricultural based college in a small town. The campus and scenery is beautiful, & everyone is welcomed with open arms, no matter what. It's very inclusive and I personally have found my niche with lifelong friends. The professors really do care about their students, & you literally are set up for success. Besides the occasional cold showers, bland college dinners & loud neighbors, UW-River Falls was the right choice for me!
I really love this university. I've been attending here all four years and have had nothing it positive experiences. Everyone is so nice and welcoming! The professors here are great! They are well qualified and easily accessible and are willing to help students who seek help. The class sizes are small so you have a chance to interact more with the professors and other students. The clubs, sports and organizations here on campus are amazing. There are so many opportunities to get involved. The campus is great in all seasons and is very well taken care of. You can walk from one side of campus to the other in fifteen minutes. It's also a great place for students who commute. Our Universitg Center provides a nice place for students to study, relax, eat and have fun! The only change I would like to see on campus is for there to be more activities in the winter but this year they have already added so much. This university is a great place to attend!
