University of Wisconsin - Green Bay Reviews
Every person I've met in relation to UWGB, no matter if they were an alumni, student, professor, or lunch lady, have been really welcoming and helpful. As a freshman, the faculty of every department makes sure you are as comfortable as you can be in your first year of college. They're all really encouraging to get out of your comfort zone to get involved, make friends, and try new things! If there are any issues, the staff always puts your best interest at heart and does their best to resolve it. Academically, there are several programs, internships, and opportunities on and off campus that is beneficial towards your major. There are also jobs on campus that could be beneficial towards your major and your resume. UWGB has something for everyone.
UWGB has been a great school so far. It is pretty small, but it is a wonderful campus. Professors are great and have been very willing to help students! You are definitely not just a number at this school. The only downfalls are that it is somewhat secluded from the actual city of Green Bay, it is definitely not a party school (if you're into that), and we have very cold and snowy winters here (campus tunnels are a life saver for that one!). Overall it is a very safe and affordable college, and I would definitely recommend it to any future college students or people thinking about transferring! I am very happy I chose UW-Green Bay!
I am extremely happy with my decision to attend the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay. You receive a quality education from professors who really care about your success, and take time to get to know who you are and what they can do to help you succeed. Anyone can find their place here. With hundreds of clubs, varying athletics, on-campus jobs, and a huge community of kind, welcoming people, GB allows for any background to find who they are and prepare them for who they wish to become. The university is constantly hosting events on campus that appeal to whatever you may be interested in, and you can easily tell that they strive to make every aspect of a student's life enjoyable in and out of the classroom. Everything is within walking distance, connected by tunnels to each building, and has everything you need for your day (food, supplies, study spaces, PokeStops) at your convenience. Did I mention they offer all of this and MORE at a fraction of the cost of other schools??
