University of Wisconsin - Green Bay Reviews
Every person I've met in relation to UWGB, no matter if they were an alumni, student, professor, or lunch lady, have been really welcoming and helpful. As a freshman, the faculty of every department makes sure you are as comfortable as you can be in your first year of college. They're all really encouraging to get out of your comfort zone to get involved, make friends, and try new things! If there are any issues, the staff always puts your best interest at heart and does their best to resolve it. Academically, there are several programs, internships, and opportunities on and off campus that is beneficial towards your major. There are also jobs on campus that could be beneficial towards your major and your resume. UWGB has something for everyone.
UWGB has been a great school so far. It is pretty small, but it is a wonderful campus. Professors are great and have been very willing to help students! You are definitely not just a number at this school. The only downfalls are that it is somewhat secluded from the actual city of Green Bay, it is definitely not a party school (if you're into that), and we have very cold and snowy winters here (campus tunnels are a life saver for that one!). Overall it is a very safe and affordable college, and I would definitely recommend it to any future college students or people thinking about transferring! I am very happy I chose UW-Green Bay!
UWGB is a quiet, smaller UW campus. It is surrounded by nature and filled with the nicest people. The professors are caring and bring fun into the learning environment. I am the happiest I have ever been in my life when I am at Green Bay! There is always something fun to do around campus, from jazz nights to crafting stations, and fun themed stuffed animal making events!
