The school part is okay, the professors really care, but the actual campus is insanity boring. Living on campus was like hell. People are very introverted, so if you want to have any kind of fun this probably isn't the school for you. I'm sure this school would be great as a commuter school, but as far as living on campus it is boring. You never really get to know your neighbors, people just kind of ignore you here. You can walk past someone and they will just look down, and ignore you and won't even say hi. The school is good, but the people who go there just are not fun!
Review University of Wisconsin - Green Bay
Everyone at GB is extremely welcoming from the get-go, and though I usually feel home-sick easily, I rarely do while at school. They are constantly working on improving the campus, which is full of wildlife and beautiful nature scenes. We are known as the "Green" college because of our eco-friendliness and awareness. There are a variety of food options and nine times out of ten, the food is actually delicious. The cafeteria area, when full is just as enticing, though it is highly disappointing on weekends. As a division one school, our athletics are great, but note that we do not have a football team. All of my professors have been wonderful and helpful outside of class, but some can be difficult to understand in class due to their accents. However, these professors provided us with written notes to compensate. The classes seem to be hit or miss as far as difficulty goes. Overall, I love this school and plan on sticking around for the full four years.
Overall this school is awesome. There are a lot of people who complain but I really don't feel sorry for them, because they chose to come to this school. It is located in a beautiful area with a lot of green and trees around, which makes for a quiet relaxed campus and I love it. The professors are awesome and most seem to really care about their students. I think that the academics are very good and they have a very high percentage of students that graduate who find jobs. They want to help you and guide you to your career. There are so many options to find out what you truly want and love to do. The food sucks and I wish it was easier to make friends but other than that it really is great!
