I just finished my first semester here and it was pretty good. It isn't that diverse. It's majority white and the whites and blacks rarely interact. Academic wise I was definitely challenged, this school is not a walk in the park. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR RESOURCES! The campus is a nice size. They have buses but you still walk alot. The athletics are okay, not much to say about them. They're athletics. Professors are reasonable. The local area is expected from a small town. Housing is good, it depends on where you stay, you get what you pay for. Campus food is ok, They're 2 cafes, Z6 and EC. Most will say Z6 is better but EC has more variety. Student life is ok, they have a lot of stuff for the us to to and get involved in. Safety and Party Scene go hand and hand. This year there was lots of crime making both campus and carrollton police strict, which interferes with the party scene because everything gets shut down before it starts. I will say parties be lit until they get shut down.

I am enjoying the University of West Georgia, right now! I am well into my second semester. I love West Georgia because its a lot of fun and its a challenge. I love the fact that the teachers aren't too harsh, from my experiences so far. I have actually learned something from every class that I have taken. The class sizes vary. But not many of them are excessively large. The professors are very direct, and its easy to start up some type of relationship or bond with them. they are very friendly and if you are actually trying to connect, you realize they have a great sense of humor. They are all very understandable. I appreciate the fact that there are so many resources available on campus.
The first time I went to the UWG campus, I was a little nervous.I was afraid that i was not going to fit in at all. However, the students in my classes turned out to be my "Art Family". And on top of that, the campus was humongous! There where plenty of restaurants and place to shop near the school. It is an amazing campus, and has awesome professors! I can not wait to go again.
