The University of Texas at El Paso is an excellent institution! UTEP has over 166 different majors! Not only that, but it also includes cheerleading, football, basketball, soccer, and other sports! There is also a recreational gym on campus where you can lift weights, swim in the pool, and even go rock climbing! The best part is that there are three different dorm buildings. You can go with six friends, four friends, or even your own solo studio! Furthermore, the professors and staff are from all over the world, ensuring that all students receive the best education possible. Tuition is less expensive than at other universities, and you get the same experience!
UTEP is easy to navigate with online campus & parking maps. It’s high in Hispanic diversity as it borders Mexico! There are many study areas & food chains!UTEP has a free shuttle system.UTEP is located in the central area of the city, allowing students to visit popular spots! The weather is typically hot, so always be prepared, bring water & a hat!UTEP also hosts many events. UTEP's online page is very efficient. Lastly, UTEP does have an alert system, that sends direct text messages to your phone number in the case of any emergencies. To anyone interested in attending the UTEP, I recommend registering for classes ASAP, as you’ll have the early opportunity to review what other students thought of the professors you may consider choosing.I know a majority of students at UTEP leave detailed reviews! Lastly, make sure to buy your parking permits early to guarantee a space near your classes’ buildings, as UTEP is a large campus and the walk uphill is definitely a workout.
This past semester was my first semester at the University of Texas at El Paso and all of my professors were amazing and caring for all the students. The campus over all is very open and has an engaging environment. The student facilities are taken care of very well. They make the payment options very easy and straight forward, I did receive a refund which was very useful toward books and other supplies I needed throughout the school semester. The Bookstore has everything you need from clothes to testing documents. The food on campus is amazing and so is the staff! Especially the Chick-fil- a and Starbucks, they are fast and efficient. Everybody is super friendly and there are always engaging activities for every student on campus and even the community off campus. The parking lots are a bit pricey but it is totally worth it since you could use the parking pass for other events at UTEP. The campus is very safe and well secured, i haven't felt unsafe.I can’t wait for next semester!
