My experience in University of Texas- Brownsville was wonderful for I found my career pathway in that school and met people who were going for the same career. Although, I graduated in general studies for Texas Southmost College when the university separated from the college. With that, what I liked about the campus was that it is close to where I live, not that expensive, tutors, academic advising, and having a diversity of race and being of mixed genders where some people can help us grow more as a person. I also like the extracurricular activities they offer because I like helping the community and this gives me an opportunity of doing so. Some things that I would change in the college towards my program of study would be a study room; audiobooks; tutoring sessions for programs like nursing, emergency medical science, etc.; a hangout place for those students; a gym; and a recommendation of the teachers to stay in the same subjects and not to overwork their students.
I love the campus, its very comfortable. The faculty and staff are very friendly and approachable. I enjoy going to class everyday. The school itself is very nice and well maintained. There's clubs and organizations one can join. Work study is also available and tutoring! The only thing is that I wish they offered four year degrees, but other than that i love it.
I would defiantly choose my school again if I could do it all over again. This school has provided so much help towards growing as a person, individual, but mostly student! This school has prepared me for college and I'm looking forward to the upcoming years of college.
