I am loving the University so far! I started attending this Spring and everyone has been very friendly, so much more so compared to my 2-year college. The advisers really care how you are doing and contact you all the time (at least in the History department). The only complaint I have is the parking situation is a bit of a hassle, I recommend coming to the campus quite a while ahead of your first class in order to find a spot! And I'd wish they would focus on one spot of construction rather than trying to do 10 different projects at once, can make getting to certain buildings a hassle. But that has nothing to do with the quality of education here, which in my experience has been excellent!

UTC is a very beautiful campus. Campus security is great and easy accessible. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The dorms are outstanding and mostly apartment style with both shared and private rooms available. Most meal plans include swipes to Crossroads, the dining hall, and mocs bucks to Scrappy's Place with restuarants such as Chick-Fil-A, Moe's, Which Wich, Steak 'n Shake, and Panda Express. Students can also use Mocs Bucks at Subway located in the South Campus Pod, Starbucks located in the library, the POD markets, and Einstein Bagels or Dippers located in West Campus Housing. Most professors care about our education and are eager to help in any way possible. Academic advisors are extremely helpful especially when it comes to registering for classes. The only inconvenience on campus is the large amount of construction.
I am a future student for UTC, and I have fallen in love with it! It is not too big or not too small, it is just perfect. The buildings are equipped with the best technology available, and the dorms are the best ones I have seen. Those two things are very important to me! The curriculum is outstanding as well. There are various activities all around campus for every individual. If you are looking for a college where you will fit right in and have perfect college experience, then check out UTC. It is truly a hidden gem!
