University of Tennessee - Chattanooga Reviews
I've had a pretty solid experience so far at UTC. Started in the dorms my freshman year and eventually moving off campus, everything is walkable (including downtown), there is a ton of nightlife, and the resources available to students is pretty phenomenal. Parking is awful - best to buy parking passes well in advance and don't expect to find anything if you're coming from off campus - but the nursing program is stellar and really competitive, as are most of the programs there. I highly recommend because of the size (big enough that you'll meet a lot of people, small enough that you'll feel known in your classes - most are 25-100 people) and the location and price - you can't beat the dorms!
UTC is an excellent school! I have loved my first year here and genuinely want to continue my education. The professors and staff are friendly and very helpful with questions and can be really understanding. Chattanooga is an amazing city with so much to do, a great place if you want to be in the outdoors. Overall, my experience in the year that I have been here has been awesome and i'm sure you would love it here, too!
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has so much to offer, not only academically. UTC offers many extracurricular activities, while strongly promoting the importance of getting involved with the community. They also offer help. Coming into this school knowing nothing about Chattanooga itself, the staff here at UTC has broadened my horizons and made me quite comfortable in a setting that I was completely unfamiliar with. Academically, this school is top notch. All of the professors that I have encountered thus far have been nothing but kind and willing to help. Although it is challenging, UTC offers much outside help in order to insure that you succeed. All in all, UTC has been an amazing experience. I would recommend this school to any and everyone!
