The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has so much to offer, not only academically. UTC offers many extracurricular activities, while strongly promoting the importance of getting involved with the community. They also offer help. Coming into this school knowing nothing about Chattanooga itself, the staff here at UTC has broadened my horizons and made me quite comfortable in a setting that I was completely unfamiliar with. Academically, this school is top notch. All of the professors that I have encountered thus far have been nothing but kind and willing to help. Although it is challenging, UTC offers much outside help in order to insure that you succeed. All in all, UTC has been an amazing experience. I would recommend this school to any and everyone!

Overall, I have loved my experience at UTC. There are so many ways to get involved on this campus so you will never feel left out or out of place. The campus is beautiful. It's not too big so you feel like you're just a number, but it's not too small that you'll feel like you're still at high school. Chattanooga is packed with fun stuff to do so you'll never get bored. All The professors are very helpful and kind, based on the ones I have had. While the athletics here are not much of a big deal, we do have all of the sports you could want. The dorms are pretty nice for college housing. I had my own room freshman year, and shared a bathroom, living room and kitchen with my 3 roommates. The food in the cafeteria isn't the best, but the options in the food court (moes, Chick-fil-A, which wich, etc) were all pretty good. When it comes to parties, if you're looking for one you will find one. Overall, I love Chattanooga and all it has to offer. UTC is a great school!
I attended UTC for all 4 years for my undergrad degree in Accounting. I am currently enrolled in the MAcc program (Accounting Masters program). I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at UTC. Chattanooga is a great city with plenty of outdoor activities. The professors at UTC care about their students and put time and effort into their class lectures. The business program is one of the best programs at UTC and gets a lot of outside funding from alumni. It is one of the best buildings on campus with wonderful professors. It also has an outstanding success center that reviews resumes, holds mock interviews, and has several events a year with local businesses. I was able to get an internship fairly easily due to the business success center. The only down part to UTC is the Greek life. I personally think that there is too much emphasis to join Greek life on campus. The school could do a better job at getting students together without having to join a sorority or fraternity.
