As a freshman here attending the University of South Florida - St. Petersburg, I can say that the overall experience is very great! All of the staff are welcoming and very hospitable, the upperclassmen are helpful, and the classes are great as well!
On the topic of classes, because this campus is smaller than the main campus, it only takes less than 10 minutes to get to class.
To add, It also not difficult to make friends either, especially through the many fun events and clubs that the university hosts.

I think University of South Florida- St. Petersburg is a very open, welcoming, easily walkable campus with everything you could ever need in one place. It's very possible to meet your bestest friends right around the corner from your dorm room or your class. It's super easy to communicate with people on this campus and build relations from all around the world, wherever you are. Because of the location of this campus, there is plenty of activities to do nearby all the time. Whether it be a weekend or a weekday night, anything and everything is available. The classes offered and professors are outstanding, and the different clubs and opportunities offered to students aren't available at other campus's. This school is an easy 5/5 stars, due to all experiences I've had with it.
The university did not offer any unique program that was exclusive to it. The programs were standard without offering any uniqueness to it, while the amenities were generic that are offered in practically any university/college. However, the dining room did have diverse meal options allowing those that are vegan or vegetarian to feel more welcomed. The proximity from building to building was short and accessible, allowing for quick and efficient transfer from students to different departments, dining halls, or classes that could make the college experience feel more comforting with its tighter, close-knit community. The campus police department has communication from all parts of campus and has jurisdiction to even part of St. Petersburg, which distinct the University of South Florida as putting safety as one of its top priorities.
