What I like about my university is that they are caring and if you struggle with anything there are numerous resources to help you. I love the personal connection I have with my professors and advisors. The small classrooms also make it to where I can get a better education and ask more questions when needed. The campus is very diverse and accommodates to everyone. While the campus is small it is full of excitement and opportunities. I feel when I complete my nursing degree I will have completed a life goal of mine and have a full return on my investment. The local area may not be the nicest but the university adds to the heart of the town. Also there are no college housing but there are apartments across the street that most of the athletes stay in. Overall, I love my school and cannot wait to finish my degree and continue my education further in the future.
I believe USC Lancaster is a five star campus because they create a personal connection with everyone they meet. They take the time to help everyone and anyone. They truly do care for all students, faculty, and staff members. USCL has been my home for two years now and I would not rather go to any other school for my first two years of college. 10/10 I would recommend high school graduates and anyone else interested to apply for USCL and get in touch with one of our many fabulous advisors or faculty members. The transition to online was a breeze and I would consider taking more online courses in the future. This college campus has become my home away from home and I am ecstatic to continue my education and become a nurse in the next two years through their Palmetto College Program in their Bachelors Nursing program.
The campus is not very big, which is a good thing because you never really have to rush between classes. The professors are wonderful people, and all of the ones I've had know how to keep a class room in check. There are restaurants around the area if you are looking for a bite to eat. The school has an academic success center which students have access to at any time. There is even a gym which full time students have access to, for free! All in all USCL is a wonderful campus.
