University of South Carolina - Beaufort Reviews
Professors are typically knowledgeable and passionate about their respective fields. Very few times where the professor poorly conveys topics or ideas for the class or the expectation for the work for the semester. Living on campus is okay, dorms are average in size. Food in cafeteria is surprisingly good! Administration and financial aid people are super helpful and willing to work with you. Would recommend to anyone who wants to stay near home but kinda get a taste of the typical college life seen on tv and film.
Beaufort is a great school if you're looking for something very small and you love the beach! The dorms are like an apartment, including appliances and everything. Your classes can only be in 3 buildings and they are all within a 2 minute walk. It is a very nice, laid back school but if you're looking for a challenge, then this may not be the school for you. The teachers are all really nice and usually pretty understanding.
USCB has lots to offer its students, from the classes, to the campus, to the students. USCB makes you feel right at home and gives you the best possible chance of success. everyone is so welcoming and it is a great atmosphere to be in. The professors care about their students success and work with their students to help them achieve their goals. The campus is beautiful and close to the beach. Hilton Head Island is close by and has good food, shopping and beautiful beaches. The area where the campus is located is nice and designated for school. There's close grocery stores and gas stations and close interstate access as well.
