From my experience as a student at this institution, it's an excellent place to study. The campus is filled with trees and vegetation which gives it a very nice atmosphere. Personally, that's one of my favorite traits of this college. The student community is very nice and are always willing to help. There are a good variety of associations for you to join no matter your major. Unfortunately, if you want to join a sports team there's only a few choices. Just like any other institution, there's good professor and the ones that give you a hard time, but don't let that stop you from achieving your dreams. The university doesn't have dorms of their own so it's a bit tricky to find where to stay if you plan to study here.
UPR Cayey offers a small, but concurred environment for students. Faculty members are attentive to ever student's needs and will work in any ways necessary to improve their experience. The University also offers free mentorship and tutoring services, perfect for everyone, especially freshmen.
The University of Puerto Rico at Cayey is highly recommended for students who are interested in majors in Science and Arts. I am a History student at said institution and my academic experience is A+; Humanities and History professors in this institution are highly prepared by which the student leaves the University with great general and specific knowledge in the area, since in order to complete the degree, a historical investigation is required.
