University of Pittsburgh Reviews
Review University of Pittsburgh
The University of Pittsburgh is a wonderful university full of diversity and opportunity. In the beginning of the year, I dove nervously into the unknown of the university and new environment I quickly adjusted to the sudden changes once meeting friendly peers and Pittsburgh residents. I participated in many on campus events and even joined a club to connect with other with similar interests as me. The academics of Pitt are challenging yet rewarding. Most of my professors cared about the subject they were teaching and of the students they were teaching. Campus food is amazing and there are plenty of options with dining passes and dollars that will guarantee no food boredom. Pittsburgh itself is a beautiful city filled with lots of things to do and towns to explore. I can't wait for what's in store for the next 3 years of my education at the University of Pittsburgh!
This is a pretty great college. There are numerous classes that anyone can choose from depending on their interests and their major. Their medical part of the college is outstanding! Many of the professors are wonderful, but you will get some of the awful ones. The campus is gorgeous, especially Cathy (the Cathedral of Learning). No matter how difficult the classes are you will forever be in love with the University of Pittsburgh.
I love this school! I got my bachelor's degree here, and I'm returning to Pitt this year to receive my graduate degree. University of Pittsburgh offers a great education, and students graduate with great job prospectives. The application process for both undergrad and grad schools were long and tedious, but fairly easy to understand. The application fee for undergrad was cheap, while the application fee for grad school was very expensive. However, since I love this school, the fee doesn't bother me. Students that attend this school are very smart - they are top 25% of their high school class. When finals are approaching, everybody is studying! You see students study in the classrooms, on the grass, in dunkin donuts, on the bus... everywhere! If you want to go to a school that has a high standard of education and produces graduates that work at top companies, University of Pittsburgh is your answer!
