The program I took (Human Services) was challenging and taught me many things that I use often in my career as a substance abuse counselor. The teachers were all competent and employed in the human services field in some capacity or another. This made them valuable resources for networking and advice. It is expensive, and the loans have been hard to deal with at times. I think a program in a more lucrative field would have presented a better return on investment, but I appreciate the education I received.
I am a new online student, but so far the faculty has been amazing. There are always calling or emailing me to see how I’m doing. I feel so motivated to continue on to achieve my degree. This is a top notch college in my opinion, especially for us older students going back to school after raising a family. I only have good positive thoughts about University of Phoenix and highly recommend it to future students.
it was a great online experience. the professors are very supportive and the advisors are always helpful!
