My experience has been nothing less than great! UOPX is making the most of today's technology by making it possible; for busy individuals who work hard to support their family, or individuals who are unable to pack up and leave home; to do the work right from home and ultimately earn a college degree. It is different but bold in the very best way imaginable. UOPX is for the diamonds in the rough, this way we all get an equal opportunity at a success. I am so thankful.
My overall experience since I enrolled in the University of Phoenix has been so amazing. They offer so much support and assistance. I have financial aid office calling me as well as my mentor to check up on me and see how I'm doing academically. If I have a concern about an assignment, all my instructors have answered all my questions and guided me in the direction I need to be in. All the support and resources I have has helped me realize that enrolling at this university has been the best choice I've made. I do not regret it and I have recommended it to a couple of colleges and friends.
Overall, I have had a positive experience while attending University of Phoenix virtually. The only thing that I would have appreciated would have been access to a physical textbook. I am a visual learner and I feel as though having access to a textbook that I could have marked up and highlighted would have helped me tremendously.
My advisor was very professional and made it a point to reach out to me every couple of months. If I had any questions or concerns with any aspect of the school, the website is very user friendly and helped navigate me to the area I needed for information or provided the contact information for the designated department/individual.
