University of Ottawa Reviews
The University of Ottawa is in the heart of downtown Ottawa. Therefore, there are many places to explore between classes. The University provides discounts on shows that also take place downtown as well as some stores at the Rideau Mall, which is by the University. The campus is pretty big and spread out among downtown, so it's good to be familiar with the city before pursuing academics. The University of Ottawa is also bilingual, and offers dozens of other language classes outside of French and English. Finding a place to stay can be tricky, especially if you're not too familiar with the city--there are some quirky parts of the city, especially downtown. The housing at the University is small and simple; it depends what one is looking for.
My experience at UOttawa so far has been very good. My professors are engaging, I'm learning a lot and there are tons of helpful programs at the school to help me with anything I need.
I just started at UOttawa and so far it's been great! Classes are easy to find and campus has a bunch of helpful tunnels. Other students have all been kind and friendly to me. Navigating Blackboard and UOzone is harder than it should be.
