Hard to learn if you can’t login. If you have issues reaching the instructors, it is a minimum of 48-72 hours.
UNCP does not look out for their students like they say the will. There are some good professors but there a lot who is just there to get a check. I feel as if they do not care for the students like they said they would.
The teachers at Pembroke do not care for as much. I have struggled with this online learning because i am a hands on learner and when I tell my professors that, they just tell me to get a tutor and just make sure I read the PowerPoints. the PowerPoints do not teach you what going to be on the test. they are mostly definitions. It sucks that they cant help on the level that I need.
I did take online classes and that is simply not for me. Covid force many student to do this and it has affected them in different ways. You must be very motivated and focused to go online and do work. Classes like math and science make this type of learning even harder especially when you do not have a good teacher.
I have only taken online classes during the coronavirus pandemic and most professors weren't prepared to teach online courses. I have yet to sign up for an online course.
I was an okay expirence the school was sort of in the middle of no where so i did not have much to do but the friends i made there were really nice, they also kept me company. I also love the basketball games there. They were always full of excitement. But in total the school just is not right for me and i plan on transferring in the fall to Unc charlotte.
i visited this school and it was a nice environment. i would like to go to this

My least favorite college experience. A lot of the professors don't really care about your success. This school will nickel-and-dime the heck out of you.
They are the worst people to work with, certain things are OK. Just never have a money issue or its over for you. People are so rude at times like are you not their to help. Most professors out there really don't care about you or your grades. I truly haven't learned anything from them. Their system set in place to help you is terrible, like they are irrelevant to what you really need.
I plan to be a physical therapist and wanted to major in exercise science so that I could have the more hands on aspect of the major but the exercise science department is almost trash. Its not as challenging as it should be and there arent a lot of sciences required so Im finding myself having to basically double major in exercise physiology and biology in order to be able to meet the requirments for graduate school.
It was too much of a hassle and I barely got what I needed. The majority of my aid was in the form of loans.
There are too few parties
Theirs a lack of variety, everyday its the same foods in the cafe. We should add some more eating facilities on campus, to have more of a variety.
Way too strict. Let us enjoy college a little.
I felt helpless a lot, before and after.
Overly strict for a facility of its decency.
The parties are gross, dangerous and are often broken up by the campus police fairly quickly. Not worth wasting your time on them.
The first semester went by smoothly but this semester I almost had my classes dropped because i could pay the rest of my tuition.
They're only 2 places to chose from, we all wish there could be more but we work with what we have or travel down the street for something else.
There are few fast food chain restaurants around campus.
