The University of New Mexico-Los Alamos branch is a small community where individuals such as staff, professors, and classmates look to help you exceed in your educational goals. I come from the reservation and being close to home allows me go to school and participate in my traditional doings. The branch is a perfect start for incoming freshman who like to study in small class sizes and have one-on-one help from professors.

My experience with this college branch was phenomenal! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and the teachers were amazing and patient! There were small classrooms, not big lecture rooms which was very nice; teacher worked one on one if needed to help pass the course. The teachers were helpful because they wanted you to pass their course; they actually cared about your credits!
I like the many opportunity classes that it has even though it's a small campus. I like how all their classes are able to transfer in case you choose to go to a different college.
