Transferring to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas from College of Southern Nevada was intimidating at first. The size of the campus is overwhelming and the resources offered to students are incredible. It's awesome to run into my friends as well as create new relationships with classmates and professors. After settling in, I'm abundantly more comfortable at UNLV and I'm excited to bask in the college experience while I'm here. The only thing I would change is create more parking lots; often times, finding a spot can prove to be difficult. Other than that, Go Rebels!
Review University of Nevada - Las Vegas
I just started this semester of Fall 2017 and so far I love the university! The campus is awesome, they have so much green and keep it very clean. The professors for my classes are very open-minded and very knowledgeable. The students are very friendly and the staff is also great, with the exception of some advisors who seem to have a bad day everyday which sucks, but definitely all the positives are outweighing the negative. I'm excited and feel feel very blesses to be a student here.
Although I am currently only A freshman, I have been really enjoying my experience thus far. I am enjoying the college life far more than I enjoyed high school in the aspects of my education, my environment, and the people. One thing I really enjoy is the quality of professors. The University of Nevada, Las Vegas is the second most diverse in the nation. This means that we have so many cultures joined together which surprises me that the professors are able to teach in a way that we all understand and are involved; no student is left behind. On the other hand, there is one thing all students would change and that is the parking issue. With over 30,000 students, parking is a hassle. Many students are late to class just because they spent more than thirty minutes contemplating where to park! Fortunately, they are handling this issue by constructing and opening new parking garages!
