I have loved my experience at UMW thus far! The Xperience One learning system and block scheduling are fantastic; especially if you are looking into a career in Education. The campus is beautiful and easy to navigate, and the staff are very friendly. If you enjoy the outdoors, then this is the place for you! There is no shortage of things to do outside, no matter the time of year. However, if you are more of a shop at the mall kind of person, then you'll have to drive to one of the nearby cities (Butte or Bozeman). Would highly recommend!
I have only done a tour of this college but was very impressed by the atmosphere. The campus is beautiful and very clean. The people seem really nice and helpful, small town vibes. My favorite part is the block scheduling!
The university is very accommodating for residents that don't live near the campus. The ability to do majority of your studies online makes being a parent, full time worker, and student much less hectic.
I have ran into a few instances where communication is lacking between the school and the student though. It's always after a deadline of some sort that business services will reach out instead of proactively sending out the deadline or expectations. It is not intuitive where to find all of the information you may need and the communication between administrative staff and students has been less than perfect so far.
