My advisor was excellent! She guided me through my academic plan and was able to find courses that accommodated my lifestyle as a teacher and single mother. Tuition is reasonable with financial aid opportunities available. There are activities and clubs to fit a variety of interests. I was sold at the Ted Drewes' vending machine! Just kidding. Staff are welcoming and friendly and if I didn't have my own place, I would've definitely stayed on campus.
I like the fact that tuition cost is pretty low and the tutoring center is great for a number of classes. I would like to see most of our textbooks available in the school library. For certain classes, I would like professors to make the title of their textbooks available before the beginning of the semester so student will be able to find at good prices.
For the joint engineering program, I would like the calendars of Washington University side and University of Missouri St Louis to matches. It always feels like we do not get to rest at all because when we have a break with one school, we attend classes at the other school. For engineering programs, I feel like we do not get enough hands-on classes and/or laboratory. I would like the school to give more hands-on classes so we get more of the real world taste.
