University of Missouri - St. Louis Reviews
Attending UMSL has been the most educationally enlightening experience of my life, and I have met some of the most creative, interesting and inspiring professors and students. I believe with the knowledge I am acquiring and the ability to communicate with diverse audiences, I am inspired and motivated to seek higher education in order to create a better quality of life for me and my family. UMSL has opportunities for developing leadership, networking, mentoring and team concepts that can put you on a path to achieve your educational goal. Current statistics of high school dropout rates and lack of accreditation of schools convinces me there is an opportunity for me to become a part of the solution. My passion is to help the youth. I re-entered school to gain tools in communications. I think I will be equipped and on my way to become an author and a public speaker after completing a degree in communications.
Hello my name is Michelle Hughes, I recently graduated from Saint Louis Community College with an Associate Degree in GTS. My experience at the University of Missouri in Saint Louis Missouri was very friendly and warm. I was able to sit down with an advisor and get all the information I needed about the majors that I have interest in. Also I received a tour of the Business department, social work, Education, the nursing department, and student support department. The parking area was nice and it has an excellent Millennium building with access to financial need, snack shops and plenty of more things you my need . I'm very excited and look forward to attending University of Missouri Saint Louis Missouri in the near future.
My experience at the university of Missouri Saint Louis has overall been above average. As a first year freshman I haven't felt as if I've been attending a traditional college. The overall atmosphere has beenquite boring. There are not enough of activities that involve students and the academic clubs are not advertised well enough to make them aware to the students of UMSL. I have to say the academic area is fantastic. So far the teachers I've had the chance to meet have been very helpful and are characters in the classroom. I especially loved taking the Universal studies required course because it gives freshman a chance to get to know the school better and as a student who commutes i really appreciated the course because it gives information of events going on during the year. I've been able to meet many new people and make connections already through the help of this course.
