Review University of Mary Hardin-Baylor
Looking back on my college experience, I would for sure say it was a quality education with passionate and outgoing students who wanted to succeed and help others as well. Other adjectives used to describe the campus would be religious and small. But that's not what defines it. What stood out to me was the opportunities it gave me to serve the community around me, make connections, and even travel! During my time of 4 years at UMHB I got to invest in drama clubs, outdoor service for the community as a college campus, and even travel to places such as Haiti and London to serve and study abroad. I made friends and memories that have already stood the test of time since my graduation 2 years ago. However, I did go to a school that specialized in Nursing as opposed to my major, Graphic Design. The teachers were friendly, helpful and passionate and convinced me to do the Disney College Program, which has served me well and gotten me a full-time job here which I love. Overall I would recommend this University for it's sheer conviction it has to be the best place for any student that walks onto the campus.
I've enjoyed my experience at Mary Hardin Baylor and would highly recommend it to others. I have found the classes to be intriguing and the professors to be helpful but also expect the best from the students. The overall learning experience is great! The atmosphere at the school is one of the best, my peers are fun to be around and at the college there's always something to look forward to doing.
One thing i enjoy about the university is the student community around the small campus. Individuals from different backgrounds will always come together, whether it be for religion, or other common ground. The university affiliates itself with athletic and academic pride, one being from the football team, and the other form the nursing program. The university, though highly accredited, is still somewhat small and is constantly attempting to grow and branch out. Overall, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor allows the average college student to feel at home, while providing a memorable college experience.
