If you want the best, most memorable college experience and also be academically successful then the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is the university for you. There are more than enough libraries for anyone to study for, plenty of fraternities and sororities for anyone to join and find the right fit for them, many restaurants that will always fill anyone's sweet tooth, and everyone on campus is very welcoming and always willing to help. I live about 3 hours from home and the bus company is very inexpensive and I can always travel home whenever I feel homesick or need some of my mother's delicious foods. It's easy and fast and everyone who attends this schooI still talks about it for the rest of their lives. I highly recommend this university to anyone looking for a school that will give them the best academic and social experience!
I love this university! It is one of the best universities in the world! This prestigious university will give you so many opportunities. You will meet so many people from so many backgrounds, learn so much in classes, and be inspired every day. Dorms and dining hall food is okay. Safety is okay. There are buses that take you everywhere so don't be afraid of people saying it is a huge campus and that you have to walk a lot! This school is perfect and you will not regret choosing it! ILL-INI !
My academic experience at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has been amazing. Before college, I was already an avid bookworm and academic, but I've truly been able to thrive at UIUC. All of my professors that I've had so far have been amazing. They bring so much passion to class and truly care about us succeeding and understanding the material. They are experts in their subjects, but they are always open to hearing our ideas and opinions, and enjoy discussing with us. I've also been able to have eye-opening discussions with my peers, and have been able to learn about people and their experiences from all over the country - and even some from other parts of the world! I've had a wide array of opportunities to get involved at my school. I'm a breaking news editor for the college paper, I worked with a peer of mine to write grant applications for a non profit, and I helped edit pieces for a student literary journal. I've loved my freshman year and I cannot wait to see what I can accomplish within the next three years. Choosing to go to UIUC has been one of the best decision I've ever made.
