University of Georgia Reviews
Rating 3.98 out of 5 5,655 reviews
The University of Georgia offers a vibrant college experience with ample social opportunities, diverse career prospects, and unwavering student support. Through a wide range of clubs, organizations, and events, students can easily make friends and build lasting connections. The institution's emphasis on career development includes career fairs, networking events, and internship services, equipping students with the necessary skills for success. The innovative double dawgs program allows students to earn both a bachelor's and master's degree in just five years, saving time and money. Faculty, staff, and administrators prioritize student support, providing mentorship, counseling services, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. The University of Georgia truly fosters an environment that promotes personal growth and prepares students for a bright future.
There are a lot of excellent opportunities at this college to help you get further in your education. I would like to see better food options, housing, and parking. Those aspects are okay but can be improved for how much students are paying to attend.
I have loved my experience at the University of Georgia. I have truly had the best four years of my life at this school. There are ample opportunities and I have been able to meet so many people from all around the world through greek life, club events, academic events and my study abroad to the University of Oxford. The social life at UGA is truly remarkable and I have been able to flourish and grow into a better person because of the experiences I have had through UGA, including the national championship football team! I have really valued my education at UGA and believe I will be an incredible asset to the working world as my degree in psychology has prepared me to make a difference in the lives of many people. I have had a few concerns with the size of UGA and the lack of staff they have for the number of students attending the school. While the professors are caring, you do not get individualized attention or care from faculty. While this has been challenging, I truly love UGA!
