University of Georgia Reviews
The competitive intensity within the classroom, along with the rigor of each course are what makes Georgia such an elite school academically. Georgia has many amazing professors that clearly know the entire face of their preferred subject. Georgia offers an abundance of course types with different levels which helps students to increase the amount of rigor in their schedules. The school itself is very well-built and well-kept. All of the staff at Georgia works tremendously hard to keep the facility safe. Everyone loves coming out to watch Georgia football. The environment on gameday is insane! I love Georgia’s culture as it’s so easy to make friends as there are a multitude of people on campus at all times. Georgia is a place that will better students’ academic and social lives, and will teach them valuable life lessons along the way.
UGA is definitely one of the most spirited school amongst others with their deep love and involvement for the football team. Too bad, this spirited school has no diversity; I won't tell you who's dominant group here, but you can take a good guess. You can definitely see a strong line of ethnic divisions here. Aside from the lack of connection among students, I do enjoy attending UGA. You can tell the academics here are outstanding when the professors have multiple degrees under their belt; I definitely appreciate learning from someone who major experiences. Lastly, the buildings are decent. I know that the business buildings are under renovation/ construction. Let's pray the science buildings are next!
Living on campus as a freshman or beyond, it is very easy to become involved. There are many campus organizations that are seeking student involvement and that host events. From my experience, professors are interested in you doing your best, so they work well with their students to help them succeed. Living in the area is nice- there is a nice scene downtown. There are good restaurants, concerts are always going on in the theater, there are good places to shop, and you're not too far from Atlanta or north Georgia!
