University of Florida Reviews
The University of Florida combines a classic collegiate campus with a modern and innovative spirit. First, the UF campus is absolutely beautiful with historical brick education halls and centuries old Oak trees. New buildings on campus are built with unique and complimentary architecture and consider environmental impacts to the campus. The educational spirit on UF is one of excellence where students are trained in traditional histories of subjects but also encouraged to thing about them differently and become innovators in their subject matter. Campus life is some of the best around both on campus and in the surrounding blocks. Gainesville, Fla supports the university and provides an approachable small town college feel. And don't forget GameDay. There's nothing like a Gator game in the Swamp!
Starting with the academics and professors; University of Florida is one of the top 4-year universities in the country. Although their academics are up to standard with a robust of studies, I believe some of the professors lack the compassion in the subject they are teaching. I think they just implement their type of "teaching" that doesn't benefit the students all because of the money. Aside from that, the campus and student life is beyond beautiful. There is an abundance of student-ran organizations that will provide opportunities, connections and improvement in skills. The campus food is also delicious. When it comes to athletics, it's great to be a Florida Gator! We have the strongest athletes and school spirit, you wouldn't want to miss going to a game or meet. Being a first generation student, I had an opportunity to attend college and they awarded me with some of the best student mentors.
The University of Florida is by far one of the best universities in the country. From being in one of the biggest football divisions in the country, SEC, and watching games in the Swamp nothing can compare to Saturday nights in Gainesville. The academics are wonderful but demanding being we are one of the top research universities, which allows students to further their study in any science career path of their choosing. The school offers a plethora of majors and minors to peek one's interest. Then, aside from academics there are tons to get involved in from Greek life, student government, student run clubs/organizations, intramurals, and plenty more!
