I loved my time at UCC. I met a lot of great professors who really helped me out with my unique situation. Of course I had a couple professors who I didn’t like, there where staff that I felt had unrealistic expectations, but for the most part UCC is a kind and caring community of people from all different walks of life. I never felt out of place at UCC. I always felt like I had faculty, staff, and students on my side if I ever needed anything. I often had to bring my little sister to school with me, she was one at the time, and even when I took night classes I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable walking by myself or with her.
Everyone that I have encountered have been extremely helpful. Professors want you to exceed. Admission staff, Program Advisors and Financial Aid staff were very helpful. Example; when I was about to miss an admission deadline, due to a transcript mishap, staff took the time to go and look for my transcript. Once she found it, she called me to let me know that is was received and processed.
