The people in extracurricular communities like greek life or other clubs will help you achieve your full potential and give you helpful contacts! As for academics, UCF is great for engineering. Surprisingly, it has a pretty solid arts community as well. I am majoring in English, and they are always bringing speakers to university and giving you opportunities to take your skills outside of the classroom. The other thing about UCF is that it is located in Orlando/Oviedo, which are both great communities that provide a lot of job opportunities and also cultural entertainment. UCF is amazing, and I have loved my experience here. If you are in the top ten percent of your high school class, apply to the Burnett Honors College! honors.ucf.edu. It is a separate paper application, but this honors college is really what has made my experience so worth it.
