Review University of Central Florida
UCF is a great school! It is the perfect mix of old and modern style, which makes for a beautiful campus. Classes and professors are great and there are so many opportunities for students not only in academics, but in extracurricular activities too. There are many clubs and organizations to join or starting a new one is always an option. Being involved on campus is made fun, especially when concerts, shows, parties, and other large events are held on campus. Opportunities range from studying abroad one summer to graduating with a dual degree. With over 60,000 students attending, it can be difficult to imagine that one is making a difference or having an impact on the university, but in reality, each student is a part of a much larger unit that all-together can make that difference in the community and even the world. Getting an education is made enjoyable at UCF!
I am a returning student after taking a long break from school. This is my first experience at a four-year college and I am finding it to be somewhat amazing. The school is built with walkability in mind and keeps the traffic to the outside. Classes are not choked with students, allowing the professors to learn your name. They seem concerned with you learning the concepts of the course and genuinely want you to succeed. The campus offers a wide variety of activities and things to do on your own. Sports does not dominate the campus, academics does. If you want a great place to attend class and learn new skills, then UCF should be the place for you. Fellow students are welcoming as I have not seen nor encountered discrimination. UCF offers a wide variety of disciplines, so you should be able to find the perfect career path for you. To your bachelors and beyond!
I just transferred to the University this semester and have adjusted quite easily! I have been to the rock climbing facilities, which are free to UCF students, and all the staff have been very friendly and helpful. There is also a mobile app to help keep students updated on academic and social information. Education at this school is very rigorous, and I have been encouraged to keep up with my schoolwork. I would strongly encourage others to pursue a bright future with UCF, and strive to perform to their highest abilities. There are many maps around campus and the landscape is designed for functionality and fluidity. Many classroom buildings are made for specific majors, which allows upper level students to be surrounded by like-minded students.
