As a UCI transfer student, my experience has been amazing! I currently live in Camino Del Sol where theirs an electric bus that goes directly to the school every seven min for free. It is always safe and clean here. Many of the people I met so far are very friendly where we have kickbacks, and parties in each other's houses. Overall, the people here are very wholesome and people take care of each other. The professors here are amazing too, just make sure to do your research beforehand (RateMyProffessor). Since UCI is generally a large school there are a lot of programs that are offered to the school! I would highly recommend taking advantage of that.

The University of California, Irvine is a great university to attend. Irvine is a very clean and fairly safe community which allows the campus to have the same clean and fairly safe environment as well. The campus has a well rounded, diverse group of students in which make up interactive and encouraging classroom atmospheres. The professors want to see their students succeed and the school itself provides many helpful resources such as tutoring, health services, and clubs to help you succeed as well!
The best part about UC Irvine was the convenient campus and counselors who genuinely cared about your growth and well being. However, you're definitely a small fish in a big sea and it will be difficult to stand out in your large lower-division courses without extra hard work - unless you're a natural. Being in Orange County, you're near the beach, tons of food, and Disneyland.

Although it's not a party school, get involved!
