University of Arkansas at Fort Smith Reviews
Rating 3.87 out of 5 763 reviews
The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith is a college designed to fit the needs of several lifestyles beyond that of a typical freshman. Almost all of the educators I’ve been in contact with have been passionate about what they teach and willing to help in any way they can. The administration, however, is chaotic and unorganized. They often miss important messages sent to them and it is difficult to communicate. Once they are aware of the issue though, they are more than willing to help. The university also has a plethora of resources that are dedicated to the success of students, even and especially those that are non-traditional. The atmosphere of the school is peaceful, facilities are clean and well- maintained, and it’s very affordable.
I feel like my overall experience at UAFS has been great. College life is quite challenging, and it helps people to get a lot of experience. The experience in college shapes people’s lives and ensures that they can take responsibility for their actions. Students do come to realize their potential in college, and they tend to learn more about themselves while in college. The challenges they experience help them to grow into mature people in society. Also, there is a lesson that people learn about happiness and how to counter problems in life. Indeed college life is a good experience in people’s lives because people learn a lot.
I have had many experiences at UAFS. I have learned so much, and have truly grown as a person and as an academic. I have vastly improved the quality of my paper writing, as well as my interpersonal skills. I have encountered all walks of life at this university. I have learned to accept opinions that differ from my own, and engage in amicable conversation about such opinions. There is an abundance of networking opportunities, as well as a solid variety of both clubs and classes. There are plentiful opportunities to experience new things and learn skills you hadn’t had before. Personally, I enjoyed being president of the French club. I was also a member of the drama club and got the incredible honor of starring in a production. There are clubs for almost every interest. I am blessed to have been a part of the UAFS community.
