I absolutely LOVE UA Wayne Campus! The teacher /student ratio is small allowing for individual attention. All faculty and staff are passionate about what they do. Everyone has always been so helpful. Costs are less than main campus. The campus is beautiful and I always feel safe. I love our campus so much that I am switching majors just to be able to stay and take all of my classes here rather than transition to main campus. I'm not just a number here, I have a name.
This community college is good for students just starting out with a two year degree they are pursuing. The college does offer some 4 year degrees but not very many. If you are look to not live on campus and pay tons of money for college Wayne College is a great college to attend. It offers a great student teacher ratio. The most amount of people they will have in a class is 30. The professors are more willing to help you with a smaller classes. Wayne College also offers a tutoring center that is great for people even if you do not have a learning disability they are willing to help you with homework or studying for test and quiz. They also have a writing center we're they help give you advice about your papers that you write. They also help edit your paper by checking Grammer and run on sentences and things of that nature.
The campus is quite small which helps with finding individuality in the classroom and the teacher does get to know you well if you participate in class discussions. Professor are quite hit or miss but often hit. Very inclusive and accepting. Very very affordable and offers a great deal of scholarship money. The flaw for me is that it IS a small campus so there’s not much promise for a social life.
