I can reflect upon the exciting memories formed by the lovely university known as the University at Buffalo. Cheering on the UB Bulls by joining a fanbase, dining in at one of the eat-ins on campus, attending a gathering to prepare for whatever event was to take place, engaging in photography with UB's aesthetic atmosphere, staying fit in UB's well-kept Alumni Arena, and more. In addition to memories, the staff had a profound impact on me and how I carry myself to this day. Whether it be an intro class or a more fine-tuned 400-level class, each professor that has given a lecture to me has granted me the opportunity of hearing new insight and viewing the world in a fresh perspective.

I resided in Ellicott Complex, which served as shelter for my first-year experience. The cleanliness and proximity to class/dining is unparalleled. My brother, another UB student, resided in Goodyear and has the same opinion as I for Ellicott. To new UB students I say you will not regret it!
Review University at Buffalo, SUNY
The University at Buffalo is a great research institution with affordable tuition. I received my BA from UB and decided to return to pursue my Master of Social Work degree (UB's School of Social Work is one of the top 50 in the nation). The size of the university can be intimidating, so it's definitely important to find a community within the university. For example, I majored in Gender Studies for my undergrad degree, which was a small major so I was able to get to know people in a smaller setting. I've enjoyed being able to meet people from around the country and around the world, as UB has a large population of international students. There are tons of opportunities to get involved with research which is super exciting! UB has endless opportunities which I am very grateful for!
Intelligent, conscientious, and focused students. There are so many intelligent people here I at first I felt like I wouldn't fit in because everyone is so smart! I think what I like best about UB is if you're a shy or a geek, you'll fit in right away and no one judges each other here since everyone is so worried about getting good grades. If you want to study at UB you have to make a serious conscious commitment to research and learning. Students are polite and mindful that their studies come first. Diversity and culture are huge here, and a wide variety of food so you will never get bored. There is also a bank, CVS, and a variety of shops on campus and an internal bus system and tunnels in the North Campus. It is truly a secret gem of an institution hidden away to focus on research.
