Hey, so I'm a senior at University at Albany, SUNY, and I'm loving it so far! The variety of academic programs is awesome, and I'm already eyeing some research opportunities. Campus facilities are pretty modern, but some classes are big. It'd be cool if they had smaller ones. Super diverse student body, which is great.
Location-wise, being in Albany is sweet – lots of chances for internships and stuff. Maybe some more parking options would be nice, and I've heard mixed things about student support services. But overall, I'm excited to see how my time here unfolds! 😄🎓

The campus environment is very welcoming and the campus grounds are very pleasing to look at. The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering is a state of the art facility for students the learn the up and coming field of nanotechnology and how it will impact the local central New York area and even the country. All Staff have been a pleasure to work with and made transferring to University at Albany very easy for me. The professors I have met up to now have been very welcoming and I anticipate learning from them! As for Changes the main set of Dorms on the campus (the four quads) are outdated and consist of small rooms. But, when I took a tour of the campus construction was being completed on the dormitories to update them for the 2023-24 school year.
It's a nice school with a lot of opportunities for many. There is a lot of diversity, a lot of events, good transfer student programs, and so much more! There is also really good guidance when it comes to selecting your classes for the next upcoming semesters, and great professors (depending on your major/ the classes you select). The parties are also amazing, and very fun to attend! The school is close to a mall, and many food places. You're never too far from anything.
