UNIVERSIDAD DEL ESTE HAS OFFERED ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO THRIVE IN THE FIELD OF CULINARY ARTS, IT IS AFTER ALL, PUERTO RICO'S # 1 CULINARY UNIVERSITY.
PEOPLE AND FACULTY ARE VERY NICE AS IS THE CAMPUS.
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE CHALLENGING COURSES OFFERED IN MY FIELD, BESIDES THE REQUIRED, STANDARD ONES OFFERED.
MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN AMAZING AND I WISH I HAD GONE THERE EARLIER!!!
Review Universidad Del Este
I'm on my third year of college at this university. So far I've loved my experience here. Like with everything in life there's some good and some bad. I've had the honor of been taught by some of the greatest professors ever but I've also had some unpleasant ones. In general this is great university, with one of the best culinary schools in the Caribbean.
Everyone knows how expensive studying culinary arts is. Most top US culinary schools can sum up to $60,000. Growing up in Puerto Rico with a humble family I knew I could not make my family go into debt for me. Therefore I looked for the culinary schools options in Puerto Rico. I was a little upset at first, the school's here for the culinary industry are not good. Then I found "La Universidad Del Este", the culinary programs are even accredited by the AFC (American Culinary Federation). I could not be happier with my experience here. Excellent classes, professors/chefs, and class A education for a wonderful price that my family and I where able to afford. The island is very lucky to have this culinary school.
