Everyone knows how expensive studying culinary arts is. Most top US culinary schools can sum up to $60,000. Growing up in Puerto Rico with a humble family I knew I could not make my family go into debt for me. Therefore I looked for the culinary schools options in Puerto Rico. I was a little upset at first, the school's here for the culinary industry are not good. Then I found "La Universidad Del Este", the culinary programs are even accredited by the AFC (American Culinary Federation). I could not be happier with my experience here. Excellent classes, professors/chefs, and class A education for a wonderful price that my family and I where able to afford. The island is very lucky to have this culinary school.
My institution If one of improvement and challenging. They gave me so much opportunities to develop myself as a professional. One of my favorites experience that the institution provides me is, tutoring freshman's in biology class which I consider as a great opportuny for being a successful leader.
We're by far the most hired culinary, hospitality and tourism students in the island, the United States and internationally from all the different universities and colleges from all around the island.
