It has been a difficult transition fro myself moving away from home. But this school was the best choice for me. I have ADD and being able to move around and have hands on learning is great for me. Also the 10 month program is great fit for me. The 6 hour school is also great, so that I can work part-time in my field. I like that a uniform is required and that attendance is part of your grade. They are preparing me for real work life.
Review Universal Technical Institute - Lisle
I had an IEP in high school, I like that I'm able to take tests in the learning lab with headphones on. I learn better by hearing someone read me the questions. I also can get a little extra time if I need it. They were very accommodating to me. Because not all students learn the same.
The workload is fine. I have applied for an internship, which I should hear about in the next week. They have a full employment area and there are always jobs to apply for.
