I'm in the Concord campus of Unitek. A newly approved accelerated evening LVN program became available and my dream to set my career goals has taken off!
It was easy to get in to talk to a counselor, set up financing and discuss the school requirement options. They require a prerequisite program of their own before you can get a seat in their program which is good and can make certain this is the goal for you for at least 2 years. This is not a program I would recommend for anyone who is just thinking of going into nursing, this is for a person who already has knowledge in the field already because it is INTENSE and the testing will make you cry.

Although it isn't your traditional "college experience", Unitek College will be a great choice for many who are interested in the Medical Field. With various career programs available and a great helpful staff and faculty; Unitek doesn't disappoint. They use their smaller size to their advantage by being able to pay close attention to individual students and gauging how much of a push they can give as teachers. I'm sure I'll enjoy the remainder of my school year here.
My experience at unitek college is a great. Its not a real college its a program. For people like me that doesn't have a lot of time on their hands short program are good. when I went to high school I hated it and hate is a strong word. when you are in high school they are teaching you thing that you dont really care about. I started going to unitek and I knew I could stick to it because its everything I need short hours, easy and fast work, and everything is hands on.
