From Union College - New York

Since 1795, Union College has been defining—and continually redefining—what it means to provide a liberal arts education. We've been challenging convention, blurring boundaries and shaking up traditional thinking. We develop every student to lead with wisdom, empathy and courage, in ways large and small, now and across multiple tomorrows.

Union is a highly selective, private, residential, liberal arts college with engineering that is consistently ranked among the nation's top colleges. Our 100-acre campus in Schenectady, N.Y. is a short walk to downtown, and is within easy reach of New York City, Boston, Montreal and outdoor recreation.

Our 2,150 students choose from 62 majors and minors. They engage with faculty and immerse themselves in research, internships and studying abroad. They create community through 130 student clubs and organizations, 26 varsity athletic teams (Div. III with Div. I ice hockey), our unique Minerva Program and many service opportunities.
