Going to Union College was probably the best decision I've ever made. I love the community, the atmosphere, how well kept it is. It is a beautiful campus situated right in the middle of the small town of Barbourville, Kentucky. Despite it being a small town and not a lot to do, the staff and faculty make it a priority to have things there for the students to do. The professors go above and beyond anything I've ever seen to help their students succeed. I couldn't have asked for a better college experience than the one I am receiving at Union.
The online class that I've had was really good, the professor mostly used the learning platform that the entire school uses for the regular notes and then posts youtube videos with more in-depth information.
Union college has a welcoming atmosphere, great staff, and lots of offered activities on campus. There are a good variety of clubs on campus including book club and science club. The staff is well trained, and majority of teachers are willing to meet with students to explain how they can do better in classes. The school also has weekly events for the students that are provident by SGA. These events are well liked by the students they provide a variety of events like BINGO and making pillows. As far as food goes on campus, the cafeteria has a selection of different food items like pizza, subs, etc. The campus also has two Starbucks which have the majority of the same items as a full sized shop.
