Truckee Meadows Community College Reviews
My experience at TMCC has been amazing! I will be forever grateful for Susan Elbe, Financial Aid Coordinator for Special Populations and Veterans Advisor, because she worked hard to get me back into school. I love my classes. I have the highest GPA in my academic career. I have grown and matured into a better person and student at TMCC. The staff cares about the students and works hard to help them achieve their greatness. There are many different events going on at the school. They have a gym that I can work out in between my classes. Tuition is affordable as I work full time and am still able to put myself through college without financial aid.
TMCC is a pretty campus that's easy to navigate around. Classes are pretty simple to find, and if you have questions about where something is, it always seems like there's always someone around to ask. Parking was always an issue, but it's to be expected on a college campus. Overall, I enjoyed going to TMCC because the price was right and I felt like I got the education I was anticipating!
Attending Truckee Meadows Community College is an enjoyable experience. The campus itself is easy to navigate and the classrooms are organized by floor and department; making it easy to find professors when you need them. The other students and staff are welcoming and friendly, adding to the positive atmosphere advertised on for the college. With every university and college there will be professors you don't quite agree with, or their teaching method is not for you. There is a diverse cast of professors here each equipped to deal with different styles of learning. I would highly recommend Truckee Meadows Community College to anyone first starting out college in the Sparks/Reno area because of its introduction to college life without being too overbearing on the student.
