Truckee Meadows Community College Reviews
My experience at TMCC has been amazing! I will be forever grateful for Susan Elbe, Financial Aid Coordinator for Special Populations and Veterans Advisor, because she worked hard to get me back into school. I love my classes. I have the highest GPA in my academic career. I have grown and matured into a better person and student at TMCC. The staff cares about the students and works hard to help them achieve their greatness. There are many different events going on at the school. They have a gym that I can work out in between my classes. Tuition is affordable as I work full time and am still able to put myself through college without financial aid.
Coming from a small school, this community college continues to carry a similar mission, by focusing on providing students with the best possible high quality education and experience through their services - small one on one classroom experience, diverse community, and effort given by the whole administration by setting up much tutoring opportunities in order to fit one's busy schedule. I have met some of the most caring individuals when I was experiencing the lowest, hearting breaking moments ever in my life, one student reached out with my silent cry, and by that I am forever touched by this community college.
TMCC is a pretty campus that's easy to navigate around. Classes are pretty simple to find, and if you have questions about where something is, it always seems like there's always someone around to ask. Parking was always an issue, but it's to be expected on a college campus. Overall, I enjoyed going to TMCC because the price was right and I felt like I got the education I was anticipating!
