My experience with Truckee Meadows Community College has been phenomenal! I stared college right after high school. Going from one school to another may be difficult, but with TMCC the transition was smooth and comfortable. The classroom sizes go from anywhere to 15- 30 students. Unlike a auditorium in university setting filled with over 100 students.
I truly love community college, and if I could stay at TMCC for all of my degrees I certainly would! The instructors are great, there is plenty of resources (mostly free) and the school itself is amazing. I have nothing to complain about Truckee Meadows Community College!

With the whole COVID situation, TMCC's instructors have done a great job at merging classes online. It is a bit stressful on all of us, but with some adapting to the online format, anything is possible! Overall, my experience with doing online classes has been on average. Personally, I do better in a school setting, but my ambition to graduate is what keeps me motivated! There is a lot of accountability and discipline involved with online classes, but the instructors do their part by providing the information!
TMCC is a great college! It is less expensive than a university and they have a ton of amazing professors. Every class that I have taken I have enjoyed the curriculum and professors. They are always willing to help when I ask. However, like any school, you still have the chance of getting a bad teacher. The student life is also fantastic! They always have many places for students to hang out. They also provide computers for anybody who does not have one. You also have access to a small fitness center and a regular sized basketball court. The diversity is amazing there as well! However, TMCC does not have any dorms or anything like that, so if you want to live on campus, this would not be the school for you.
