Tri-County Technical College is a great place to go straight out of high school, after high school, and even after pursuing a career. The campus is beautiful and right next to lake Hartwell. The professors here truly care about you and want you to succeed. With classes under about 25 students, the professors here will know you name and dedicate time to help you succeed. TCTC offers endless resources from free counseling, free tutoring services, help with finances, and help with putting together your résumé to find the perfect job for you or continuing your education. The campus is well put together and easy to navigate. Choosing TCTC has definitely been a choice I do not regret and would recommend for anyone whether you’re going into a workforce program, a 2 year degree, or transferring to a 4 year university.
I did take some classes online, due to Covid-19, and it was a very weird and different change for the students and professors. To me, it was very frustrating to figure out because none of the professors or students would ever expect something like this to happen. However, every professor I had did their absolute best to make the transition as smooth and informational as possible, and for that I am grateful!
This past year I have got the pleasure of going to Try-County. Overall my experience has been great. For starters the campus is beautiful. They always keep it nice and pretty and there is always a beautiful view no matter where you stand. It is also a small college so you get the chance to meet more students and become friends. I also really enjoyed all of my professors. Not only have they helped me when I needed it, but they are truly caring and always willing to be there for you. This college has also been really accepting to my ADD/ADHD accommodations. They make a separate plan for you and all of my professors has followed then to the exact order. The online classes are also really nice. I have not found it difficult to navigate. There is one think however I would love to see change. For example, people with disabilities only have one ramp and a side walk to get up on. I think there should be multiple on every staircase. It is nice to know that those would be better taken care of.
