Having small classes makes learning a more personal experience. All of my instructors are highly experienced and really love to teach. There's always something extracurricular going on, such as free food, outdoor dance lessons, book clubs, even karaoke.
The environment cannot be beat!
Review Your College
Tri-County is a great school for academic affairs prior to transfering to a four year school (if this is your intention--I only have experience with this program and so I will be speaking strictly in terms of this). Some of the best features about the college are the low tuition costs, the professors are really good for the most part, and the campus is really nice for a small technical college. I would label some of the cons as the lack of information publishing and the lack of overall social dynamic and opportunity.
I am currently a biological sciences/bioengineering major at Tri-County and I'll soon be transferring to Clemson University. My time with Tri-County this past semester has been some of the most enjoyable academic experience I've had and I believe my next semester with the honors program will be even better. It's nice to be able to look forward to my classes and my program curriculum for once, but one thing to keep in mind is that you are not given these opportunities, you have to search them out.
