My overall experience at school has been a fantastic experience. My favorite experience is watching my school evolve in such a way that is more convenient for me. What makes my school unique is that you can tell the teachers are also learning from you, and they are not afraid to do one on one learning. If I had the choice I would most definitely pick this school again, because of the amazing connection I have to my peers and the teachers.
Review Tri-County Community College
The work load for my major, cosmetology, is very fair to me. It is informative and I have learned a great deal, and I continue to learn more each day I attend class. The instructors are great and they are never to proud to help or answer any question you may have. I love not only the book work of this major but the hands on part too, I love that after we have reached a certain amount of hours, we are able to work with clients to give us practice and the ability to work with the public and earn their satisfactory and loyalty.
The professors are amazing....always willing to help you if you need it. Classes are small enough that professors get to know their students names, personalities, strengths, weaknesses, etc. Small class size is one of my favorite things about Tri-County. We get to have regular class discussions because there are at most 25-30 in a class, not 150 like large universities. I get personal attention and hands on time with professors when needed!
