The University of Akron Reviews
I appreciate the size of the campus; all relevant courses and buildings are within reasonable proximity to each other, and it is very walkable and disability-friendly. The university staff is incredibly accommodating, helpful, and competent at their work, especially the guidance and advising departments. I've also had pleasant experiences with professors at Akron who were very empathetic and supportive of me and my peers' circumstances during Covid. The campus life is quite vibrant and there is no shortage of fun clubs and organizations for students even with the most niche interest, it's very easy to fit in!
The only gripe I have is with the seemingly unending, constant construction. The sight and smell of construction in the middle of the campus is unsightly, but ultimately I understand the purpose is the improvement of the university's infrastructure.
