I love this school! I have met so many lifelong friends there and I felt like I was with my kind of people. Agriculture is so important not only to this school, but to everyone and this country and this school really encourages students to become more engaged with the communities and opportunities revolving around agriculture. The professors are wonderful and helpful! And if you’re from a small town then you’ll meet so many others just like you at this college campus.
Very small, which is good because it allows for a much more personal experience and an easier transition from high school to college. The counselors and staff were all very welcoming and helpful, and always willing to help or provide any information honestly. Open house tour was specialized and effective, and a personal tour was easy to schedule, plus a teacher even took her own time to go out of her way to talk with me personally. Love the dorms (nicer than the first apartment I lived in!), campus is comfortable and welcoming, with lots of things to keep entertained. Very "homey" feel to it all. Decent student resources, again, all very personalized. Lots of job offers on campus, especially with the farms it seems. Rural, but also just down the road from downtown Wooster, so if you're only comfortable with one of those settings you're good to go!
I cant say enough about ohio state ATI. The campus is wonderful and safe. Professors and all the staff are always there to help you with whatever you might be having trouble with. There are so many places to get one on one help with your classes. I also love that ATI is small because everyone knows everyone and your peers and the staff become like your second family. All and all wonderful college!
