The Los Angeles Film School Reviews

Although I’m a just in my first year working on my Bachelors’ of Science, I’m absolutely having a ball. When I say making the decision to go back to school after 15 years & 5 children. I can truly say: AWESOME decision. I’ve got a way to go, but their support team is hands down the best and I have no worries that I’ll have no problems getting through. Where do I start? In January, my family and I took a trip out to see what I was getting myself into. And oh my sweet hickory barbecue; I was impressed. Everything is so subtly organized and beautiful. Everyone we came in contact with were pleasant and friendly. Academically, yeah tuition fees are not for the meek let’s just say. But the way the academic advisors stay on your heel and foot every step of the way. Let me tell you, without them, I would be nothing! But seriously, these guys are amazing! So yeah… no need to sell me because moment I set foot on campus, I was buying all in. And one day, I hope you find a love of your own too!
It's a very gorgeous campus filled with endless opportunities for its students. The curriculum and pacing of the courses gives students the space they need to focus without the extra deadline anxiety. The staff and students are so kind and informative. I do wish there was a 2D animation course, but compared to everything else it does not matter! There's so much creative freedom and many resources available with both the location and the skills they offer to teach. It's an amazing university to attend.
I love LA Film and their adaptive online program that’s allowed me to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a screenwriter while also working full time across the country! I’ve been able to sharpen my craft and connect with a cohort from different parts of the country and walks of life. My instructors have been so supportive and knowledgeable in their teaching and have truly helped me become not just better writer but versatile in what I can do with my talent. I’m forever grateful for this journey and this school that’s made it possible for me!
