I loved how small the classrooms were so you could have easier one on one time with professors! Also, all of my professors so far have been so nice & helpful with guiding me through my classes. One of the reasons why I chose Christ is because it is connected to the hospital and had plenty of job opportunities the whole time throughout your nursing career!
The college experience,Leaving home for the first time in my life and finding out if I have the skills to make it in the real world. Continuing my education in hopes of finding a great career and making lots of money for a leisurely lifestyle. Not seeing people that I’m used to seeing everyday and adjusting to a different kind of lifestyle. It is a make it or break it moment in life. Adjusting to life on campus wasn’t difficult because there are no more of those parent rules. The only thing I would change about the Chris college of nursing and health science would be Academically, I would like to see smaller class sizes. The lectures never divided into smaller collaborative groups of students, and I believe this would have been valuable to my educational experience.I would like to add a games period also at the same time, it is very difficult to maintain your body physically fit during the busy college routine which leads to many health related issues.
1 phenomenal Professor, 4 horrid ones, a few average, & the rest below average. The school is very worried abt having a good name/looking good on social media. However I have noticed w issues, staff seems to either ignore/disregard, or do the bare minimum, which makes it feel like they lack 0 empathy or understanding. Very weird. U will repeatedly through all years learn the same concepts instead of topics regarding the different types of nursing. Have barely learned abt labor/delivery. Like 1-2 class days & that’s it. Same w psych. Have never talked abt the OR, children/nicu, post anesthesia, charting as a nurse, & prolly more idk abt lol. We have left clinical early more times than not. You get an automatic spot, but the floors are not educational. Very hard to make friends bc ppl all live different places.will forever regret not going to uc. Woulda had a way better social life, and from talking to many students there, sounds like a way better clincal experience & professors. I’m sad
